Markets 2010

We are always looking for new producers both of food and crafts. The market is an ideal way to try out a new product or business idea so if you fancy giving it a try or you have an idea you would like to sound out why not give us a call. We particularly want new food producers - vegetables, cheese, eggs+dairy.

The Ruthin Honey Bun is back!!

Successfully relaunched at the Market on the 29th September 2007 with sales approaching 200, the Ruthin Honey Bun is now available from Leonardo’s Delicatessen, Well Street, Ruthin.

Prize winning producers return to the Ruthin Produce Market, held in the gorgeous setting of the courtyard at Ruthin Gaol and the historic market place on St Peter's Square. This atmospheric market provides the shopper with the opportunity to buy fresh and local produce in a relaxed and friendly environment, and offers an opportunity to visit the many independent and unusual shops, which are so much a part of the joy of shopping in Ruthin.

So long, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

With our Christmas Market on Saturday 5th December now over we have now completed our markets for 2009.

The weather didn't totally let us down, it rained when we were setting up, it rained when we were taking down but for the best part of the day it was dry and we had an excellent turnout for our biggest ever market.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers throughout the year. Sometimes you have been a bit thin on the ground but you showed up come rain or shine as did our loyal stallholders.

We are going to take a rest now, the stalls have been put to bed until next year when we restart on the last Saturday of March, just in time for you to stock up for Easter! We will be working hard over the winter to bring you a bigger and better market next year and will be updating this site at the beginning of March, we look forward to seeing you then.

The Market Team.
